Quarry Bank Mill wedding in Cheshire | Andy + Nikky

Today is a special day. I’m so glad to share with you this amazing Quarry Bank Mill Wedding. Andy and Nikky are my friends and when they asked me to photograph their wedding day I was incredibly happy! It’s such a privilege to capture one of the most beautiful days in a persons life and it makes even more sense when it’s your friends incredible wedding!

As book lovers, Andy and Nikky absolutely wanted to a Penguin Book theme wedding in Manchester. When they were visiting venues, they fell in love with Quarry Bank Mill in Styal, Cheshire. This venue was a textile mill and is now a museum of the cotton industry. It has a beautiful garden were people grow vegetables, a river and an amazing greenhouse.

The wedding day was rainy but so joyful. I really loved the Penguin Book theme which brought a nice and colourful atmosphere to the reception and the brewed coffee stand was a great idea with the cake.

When I’m not taking photos, I play with Andy and our friends in two different bands. If you are curious, you can go listen to “Francis Lung”. Our other band is still secret for now but maybe I’ll tell you more about my music another time. Andy is also playing in the band “Pale Seas”  and he played drums with all his different bandmates as part of a live show to start the party.

And I can tell you that the party was an incredible moment!
