Manchester Whitworth Museum wedding | Bethan & Jacob

Bethan & Jacob’s boho industrial city wedding at the Manchester Whitworth Museum. They celebrated their love in a warehouse for a fun & relaxed day.

Bethan & Jacob are two really kind people that quickly became my friends. On their first email, they told me that they met at work where their friendship grew until they were ready to take a risk on each other and that they’ve never looked back. This wedding was a great excuse to gather their favourite people to celebrate their love for each other and I can tell you that it truly was an amazing day!

Bethan got ready at the Principal hotel with her mum and her best friends and they then went all together in the old bus to Manchester university for the ceremony. Bethan & Jacob really wanted to have a relaxed city wedding and the Manchester Whitworth University was the best place to celebrate their love with all of their friends and family. Then everyone got into the beautiful vintage bus to head to the Fairfield Social Club, an old warehouse close to the Manchester train station. This venue was an incredible place with a lot of character and Bethan & Jacob were some of the last ones to get married there unfortunately…

For them, the best part of the day was to look out over all their loved ones eating and drinking and enjoying themselves. They wanted wanted to be surrounded by all their favourite people and make sure everyone has the best time. Imagine how special it is to have everyone you love in one room together – it’s a once in a lifetime opportunity so it was really important for them to make the most of it.

After the dinner, made by the incredible Ottomen who make delicious vegetarian food, everyone went one the dance floor to dance all night in the music of the jazz band Detroit Soul Collective.
